The Sculptures are an electrifying indie post-punk band from Sydney, Australia.
Driven by strong melodies and beautiful dark vocals, the bands line-up consists of sisters Natalie and Sarah on lead vocals and on bass, joined by friends Nath and Benny on guitars, and Timmy on drums. The Sculptures have refined their energetic live performances at such iconic venues as Oxford Art Factory, The Factory Theatre and The Annandale Hotel thriving as an excited and certainly energised five piece. Recently The Sculptures supported Australia’s ‘Jebediah’ when they visited the east coast for select shows.
Their uniquely vibrant sound is influenced by the feel of new-wave, the raw power of punk and the melodic hooks of 80s rock. The Sculptures sound sits somewhere between the outlandish guitar parts and driving rhythms of U2, and the lyrical hooks of Gossip, The Kills or Yeah Yeah Yeahs; all fused together into a modern, dynamic and memorable style.
